Non-profit hirers of the Centre now benefit from inclusive public liability insurance.
The Trustees have successfully negotiated a new insurance policy which provides public liability cover up to £2million for clubs, societies and individuals hiring the Centre for non-profit making activities. Previously, such hirers were required to have cover for £5million, with premiums proving too expensive for many. Under the new deal, only commercial, for-profit hirers will need to have their own public liability insurance. This means that non-profit hirers are able to save hundreds of pounds on insurance costs and without any extra added to their hire charges.
