When you hear the words “Women’s Institute”, do you get images of Calendar Girls, pots of jam, sponge cakes and singing Jerusalem? Don’t worry, we’re not offended.
The WI is more about making friends, learning new skills, hearing stories from fascinating speakers to name but a few things we do.
Why not come and see for yourself? Meetings are at 7pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month. New members are always welcome.
No skills needed. You don’t need to be into crafting or be an exceptional cook. It’s a chance to meet other local women and have a bit of “me time”.
